RFID UHF tags are designed to be inserted into textiles
Small RFID UHF RAIN transponders designed to be discretely inserted into small pieces of clothing to prevent losses and laundry confusion. The LinTRAK XS is a small RFID (radio frequency identification) ultra-high frequency (UHF) tag which can be inserted or attached to small textile products and personal clothing to track them around a multi-occupancy dwelling. It is intended to be used in nursing homes and care facilities to track the residents’ clothing.
Battery management IC monitors can shrink final form factors
Charge and fuel gauge accuracy in a smaller solution size can be realised with the MAX17330 by Analog Devices. It includes AccuCharge technology with integrated fuel gauge and battery protection for one-cell lithium-ion/polymer batteries to extend battery runtimes.
NFC Type 2 tag IC has permanent write locks and configurable kill mode
Consumer engagement, production information and brand protection are offered with the ST25TN512 and ST25TN01K NFC Forum Type 2 tag ICs by STMicroelectronics. They can also be used for access control.
