Printed electronics specialist, InnovationLab has partnered with chemical company, Evoknik to develop the fully printed, flexible, rechargeable, solid-state batteries. The batteries, which combine Evonik’s TAeTTOOz printable battery materials and InnovationLab’s high-speed printed electronics capability results in thin printed batteries that are more flexible, safer and more environmentally friendly than traditional metal-based batteries.

Optiga Trust extends to Qi wireless charging
For secure inductive charging, Infineon Technologies has added the Optiga Trust Charge to its Optiga Trust family. According to the company, it is the industry’s first embedded security solution that is usable for the Qi 1.3 wireless charging standard. It addresses chargers for small personal electronic devices like smartphones, ear buds, tablets, wearables or health tech devices with a charging power of up to 15W.
Wireless power receiver from Renesas has WattShare TRx mode
Renesas Electronics has added the P9415-R wireless power receiver to its portfolio. The 15W receiver uses WattShare technology and enables smartphones, power banks, and portable industrial and medical equipment, to wirelessly charge other mobile devices and accessories that also have wireless charging capabilities.
