Driving early adoption of the next-generation DisplayPort standard for mobile and automotive applications, Cadence Design Systems claims to offer the industry’s first Verification IP (VIP) in support of the new DisplayPort 2.0 standard. The Cadence VIP for DisplayPort 2.0 enables designers to quickly and thoroughly complete the functional verification of their mobile, audio visual and augmented reality/virtual reality (AR/VR) system-on-chip (SoC) designs with assurance that the design will operate as expected.
Loose-fit wireless earbuds have digital noise cancellation
Digital noise cancellation technology via an automatic leakage compensation (ALC) algorithm enables active noise cancellation (ANC) in loose-fit earbud designs, reports ams. The company has developed ALC technology for loose-fit in-ear wireless earbuds to adjust for air leakage between the earbud and the user’s ear in real time. As a result, users can also enjoy augmented hearing and noise cancellation while using loose fitting earbuds.
NFC tag allows seamless mobile connectivity
Infineon Technologies claims to have introduced the world’s first certified NFC Type 4B tag. It is claimed to be the first product worldwide certified by the NFC Forum that supports the contactless Type B protocol.
