Extending the RSL10 family of Bluetooth 5 certified radio system on chips (SoCs), ON Semiconductor has developed a ready-to-use 6.0 x 8 x 1.46mm system in package (SiP) module. The RSL10 devices support Bluetooth low energy wireless profiles and can be designed into any connected application including sports/fitness or mHealth wearables, smart locks and appliances.

Small GNSS active antenna module locates with LNA and SAW
Tiny positioning devices can use the RadioNova M20047-1 active antenna module from Antenova for location identification. The antenna module is for GNSS applications in the 1559 to 1609MHz satellite bands using GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO or BeiDou.
Wireless earbuds has auto-charge feature
Atwo-pin power and communications connection between earbuds and cradle has been developed by ams. The company introduces POW:COM, an interface technology which enables power and communication between a true wireless earbud and a charging cradle over a two-wire connection. A true wireless earbud previously required as many as six pins to provide both power transfer and communication between the charging cradle and the earbud, compromising the mechanical design of a small form factor that fits comfortably in the user’s ear.
Wireless charging kit can lead to reduced form factor for IoT and wearable devices
Compact chargers for IoT and wearable devices can be reduced in size, using the STEval-ISB045V1 wireless battery-charger development kit, says the company. It lets users quickly build compact chargers, up to 2.5W, with a space-saving 20mm-diameter coil, for charging small smartwatches, sports gear, or healthcare equipment.
