Two microcontrollers from STMicroelectronics, the STM32L4P5 and STM32L4Q5 microcontrollers bring the performance of the Arm Cortex-M4 core to cost-sensitive and power-conscious smart connected devices, says the company. Bluetooth-enabled V-Sensor checks up on the wearer
Leman Micro Devices (LMD) has announced that its V-Sensor is now Bluetooth-enabled. Coupled with LMD’s e-Checkup app, which measures blood pressure, body temperature, pulse rate, respiration rate and blood oxygen, the technology extends to the wearables market and enables medically-accurate measurement from a wearable device for the first time.
Flat connectors withstand higher operating temperatures
Flat flexible cable/flat printed circuit (FFC/FPC) connectors from Hirose Electric can withstand higher operating temperatures than standard FFC/FPC connectors. The FH67 series withstand temperatures ranging from -55 to +125 degrees C. This heat resistance capability enables the connector to be used in harsh automotive environments.
Emitter antennae are designed for motion capture in AR/VR
Devices which use motion capture, for example headsets, controllers, suits, gloves, as well as augmented reality and virtual reality (AR/VR) devices, are the target for Premo’s 3DTX10 and 3DTX08 family of emitter antennae.
