Distributor Rutronik offers what is believed to be the world’s smallest buzzer, the KSSGI3J12-A from Kingstate. The small architecture makes it suitable for wearable and portable devices, says the company.
Measuring only 4x4x2mm, the buzzer has high frequency 4,000 ±300Hz and has a rated voltage of 3V op with a minimum SPL of 70dB. It does not contain hazardous substances, making it an efficient, thin and heat-resistant component suitable for wearable and portable devices, car and home electric, GPS navigation devices, as well as for consumer products, hand held, office and medical equipment.

Rugged connector has pin socket version
Continuing the trend of miniaturisation, Fischer Connector has introduced the MiniMax in 19- and 24pin configurations, giving designers more flexibility, especially where space and weight restrictions play a role.
Coiled flex cable offers expandable packaging for 12Gbit/s transmission
Able to support high-speed signal transmission applications (such as SATA or SAS), where flexible, expandable packaging for high-signal frequencies demands tight impedance control and 12Gbit/s data rates and above.
The ResilientFlex coiled assembly enables hot-swapping connections in removable-media applications, such as hot-swapping within storage drawers. The Molex assembly can be implemented in self-coiling flex circuit assembly or mechanically assisted coiling features that can extend electrical-connection lengths up to 558.80mm beyond the installed length.
Proprietary process miniaturises electronic components
Designed to meet the needs of high-performance mobile and wearable products, RASMIDs (Rohm Advanced Smart Micro Devices) are based on proprietary packaging and manufacturing technologies.
