Maxim’s aims high; claims Himalaya uSLIC is smallest power module available
Designed for space-constrained applications, micro system level IC (uSLIC) modules from Maxim Integrated Products, shrink the size of the power supply by 2.25x, claims the company. The MAXM17532 and MAXM15462 DC/DC power modules measure 2.6 x 3.0 x 1.5mm. The integrated DC/DC power modules are part of Maxim’s Himalaya power portfolio targeting industrial, healthcare, communications, and consumer markets. With these modules, customers get the full benefits of industry-best switching regulators with the size and simplicity of a linear regulator (LDO), says Maxim.
