Multi-function gates can replace multiple devices
Four multi-function gates from Diodes have user-customised logic configurations so that a single part can replace multiple devices. They provide space and weight saving in space-constrained applications such as fitness wearables, smartphones and other portable consumer electronic devices. The power consumption means that they can also be used in consumer products, such as tablets, e-readers, MP3 players, hand-held games and GPS devices.
The 74AUP1G57, 74AUP1G58, 74AUP1G97 and 74AUP1G98 provide various base gate arrangements with three inputs and one output, from which the user can configure the required logic function: AND, OR, NAND, NOR, XOR, XNOR or MUX.
Each part is available in four package types, ranging in size from SOT26, SOT363 and DFN1410 to the smallest DFN1010 package, measuring 1 x 1 x 0.39mm.
The parts not only feature a very low supply current (less than 0.9?A at up to +85oC) and low static power consumption, but can operate at low voltage (down to 0.8V VCC) to conserve even more power.
SOT26 and SOT363 package versions are available.
