Motion sensor creates implantable applications

Designed for medical applications, including implantable devices classified by US Food and Drug Administration as Class III, the MISDH is a low power, three-axis accelerometer from STMicroelectronics.
It measures just 2.0 x 2.0 x 1mm³ and consumes down to 2µA in low power mode. As well as 8-, 10- and 12bit operating modes, ±2g/±4g/±8g/±16g are selectable. Output data rate is 1Hz to 5kHz and operating voltage is 1.71 to 3.6V.
