Digi-Key Electronics signs GLF Integrated Power
Component distributor, Digi-Key Electronics has signed a global distribution agreement with GLF Integrated Power, to supply its range of ICs.
GLF Integrated Power provides efficient, small, silicon power control and protection ICs for wearable, true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds, smart medical devices, automotive, smartwatch optical modules, asset tracking and home security markets.
The GLF Integrated Power design team has a proven track record of leading in power and analogue design and recognised the need for a new generation of even more efficient power switch devices. They developed new IP and enabled efficient and differentiated power management that are both cost-effective and simple to design with, says the company.
Commenting on the announcement, David Stein, vice president of global supplier management for Digi-Key, said of GLF Integrated Power, “Their ultra-efficient semiconductor offerings provide the IoT, wearable and portable device market next-level options for longer lasting, more efficient designs.”
