Sensor hubs is low power to extend battery life
At just 75uW (68µA at 1.1V) active power consumption, the ArcticLink 3 S2 LP sensor hub from QuickLogic is the lowest power programmable sensor hub on the market, claims the company.
NFC sensor transponder is programmable and ISO 15693-compliant
Designed for industrial, medical, wearables and IoT applications, the RF430FRL15xH NFC sensor transponders are the industry’s first programmable, ISO 15693-compliant 13.56MHz sensor transponder, claims Texas Instrument. The SoC integrates a low-power microcontroller with non-volatile FRAM with the NFC interface with a programmable microcontroller, an ADC and SPI or I²C interface. The dual-interface NFC sensor transponder is optimised for use in passive (battery-less) or semi-active modes for extended battery life in consumer wearables, industrial, medical and asset tracking applications.
Film temperature sensors flex for wearable products
Surface-mounted NTC temperature sensors, packaged on a flexible printed circuit (FPC) film, are approximately 100µm thick, and can be routed inside tight spaces.
