Distributor, Mouser, now stocks IDT’s WP3W-RK wireless power reference kit. The Qi-based transmitter and receiver reference kit integrates wireless charging into compact electronics and targets designs requiring 3W or less, such as smartwatches, headphones, health and fitness trackers and portable medical devices.
Battery charger chip reduces design and test time for wearables
Claimed to improve functional integration without compromising performance and power consumption, the STBC02 IC battery charger management chip is from STMicroelectronics.
MOSFET speed charging for portable devices
Eight 60V MOSFETs are designed for synchronous rectification in flyback converters, used in quick chargers for portable devices, such as smartphones. The AlphaSGT series from Alpha and Omega Semiconductor is made up of AO4262E, AO4264E, AO4268, AON6262E, AON6264E, AON6268, AON7262E and AON7264E.
