Intel announces Recon Jet Pro updates at EWTS 2017
At this week’s Enterprise Wearable Technology Summit (EWTS) in San Diego, California, Intel announced updates to its Recon Jet Pro smart glasses.
Recon Jet Pro smart glasses can be used to streamline workflows, provide critical, visual information and are built for rugged work environments. The Jet Pro ANSI edition is ANSI 87.1-rated for high velocity and high impact resistance and is designed for use where safety-rated eye protection is required.
The AiR Suite for Recon Jet Pro comprises AiR Hub, a cloud-based management and collaboration console, AiR Designer, an intuitive task flow authoring suite, and AiR Flow, a smart glasses application for task flow interaction. Now colleagues using AiR Flow can communicate with remote experts using AiR Hub. AiR Suite uses drag and drop tools to create customisable task flows and to track and analyse team planning and task execution, using the AiR Suite cloud-based collaboration and management tools.
The Reon Partner Program includes independent software vendors (ISVs), system integrators and mobile device management providers. The manufacturing, field service and logistics areas have now expanded into niche sectors, such as pharmaceutical, chemical, health care and security.
Intel’s network of distributors includes Mouser Electronics, Ingram Micro, TekWind and Synnex.
