Preventive monitoring can customise healthcare
At next week’s IoT Solutions World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, Bittium will exhibit its wearable platform for health monitoring, which is targeted for preventive healthcare. It enables the development of customised products and services quickly and cost-efficiently.
The wearable device integrates four sensors, a three-axis accelerometer, optical heart rate (OHR), skin temperature and EmoGraphy skin conductance sensor. These measure the wearer’s stress level, fatigue and sleeping quality.
According to the company, the platform provides an easy way to develop and test new healthcare-specific products and services such as remote patient monitoring or professional driving applications.
The company will also display its Tough Mobile, a secure and durable Android-based LTE smartphone, with hardware-based information security, which also enables integration of both customers’ own and third party software security solutions.
Secure Suite device management and encryption software complements the Tough Mobile smartphone. It has a scalable set of new software services for remote management, remote attestation and securing the network connections of the device. Together they can reliably process and transfer sensitive and classified material and securing critical communication, says the company.
